Butt Implants

Butt implants, also known as gluteal augmentation, are a cosmetic surgery designed to enhance the size, shape, and projection of the buttocks using silicone implants. Unlike fat transfer procedures (such as the Brazilian Butt Lift), implants provide a more predictable and lasting volume increase, making them a popular option for patients who want a fuller, more sculpted backside but may not have enough fat to transfer.

How is are butt Implants performed?

During a butt implant procedure, the surgeon places solid or semi-solid silicone implants into the buttock area to improve volume and contour. An incision is typically made in the natural crease between the buttocks (the gluteal crease) or sometimes higher along the buttock. Through this incision, the implants are positioned either within the muscle (intramuscular placement) or beneath the muscle (submuscular placement) to create a natural appearance and feel. Once the implants are properly positioned, the incision is closed with sutures, and surgical dressings are applied.

Post Butt Implants Care

Limit Sitting and Pressure – Avoid sitting directly on your buttocks for at least 2–3 weeks. Use special cushions or lie on your stomach/side when resting.

Wear Compression Garments – Helps reduce swelling, support healing, and maintain implant placement.

Activity Restrictions – Light walking is encouraged to promote circulation, but avoid strenuous activity, squatting, or heavy lifting until cleared by your surgeon (usually 6–8 weeks).
